PROCESS OF BOOKING A PORTRAIT

Timeline
Each portrait takes a standard minimum of 4 weeks to complete, with some variation. Creating art is a subjective processes, and I thank you for your patience and understanding.
Wait List and Booking
My schedule availability and wait list is posted above, where you can see how long my lead times are and when my next available booking is. To secure a spot on the wait list, simply click on "Book Your Portrait" and complete the form.
Payment Process
An upfront deposit of $100 is required to book a spot on the waiting list.
When your turn in the list arrives I will present you with a mock up of your portrait so you get an idea of how the original will look. Once you confirm the mock up, I will send you a final invoice for the remaining balance due. After this I will proceed to create the original.

I accept payment via credit or debit with Square, and other payment methods including
PayPal, Venmo, Apple Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Etransfer.
Mock-Up Creation
When your turn in the list arrives, I will create different mock ups using the photos you provided me with. I will also make adjustments in colors, eyes, lighting, etc. to make the portrait more visually appealing. I will propose different background colours for you to choose from, which will best suit your home or the subject of your portrait.
Creation of the Original
When we have confirmed your desired mock up, I will begin creating the original. If you’ve booked your place for, let’s say, October-November that means the original portrait will be started, finished and shipped in that time frame. Keep in mind some portraits may take a bit longer than expected. During the creation of the original I will be in touch sending regular updates.

Shipping or Pick-up
After confirmation that you are satisfied with your portrait I will proceed with shipping. The portrait is sent very well packaged and highly protected. I use great care and attention in my packaging process to ensure that your portrait will arrive in the best condition possible.

If you are located near me, pick-up is available for no additional cost.
